Potatoes- from field to fryer
Potatoes are planted between late March and early may(weather depending) the are then carefully grown to maturity which depending on variety the will be harvested from early August to late October, the potatoes are then stored in our temperature controlled stores until the are needed!

Our varieties
At Baldurgan Farm we grow many different varieties of chipping potatoes for our customers depending on there needs, Our main early variety is called Miranda, it is a large potato that fries and tastes excellent , it is available from the 1st of August.Our main crop potatoes which which are available from the start of September are Agria and Markies, Markies being the most popular because of it exceptional fry colour and size!
